Why the Most Real Things in Life Can’t Be Measured
I remember the first time I realized I was going to die one day—it freaked me out. That moment sparked a need to dig deeper, to understand what it means to be human. I wanted to get to the core of this thing we call life. It seemed too real to be a matter of chance. The fact that we even ask about our purpose points to there being one, something true and worth finding. The most real things in life aren’t always measurable—science can only go so far. But how do we connect with the things that feel most true to us, the things beyond measurement?
I turned to creating as a way to capture what I was experiencing and seeing in others. Some emotions and core feelings go beyond words, and art felt like the best way to communicate them. By blending the human face—a form we instinctively understand—with the raw, abstract brushstrokes that represent the messy, expressive parts of being human, I could bring the individual and the universal together in one image. | ![]() |
Through this search for truth and purpose, a path I’ve been on since I was a kid, I found God. I realized He planted this drive in me, in all of us—a longing for fulfillment that only He can satisfy fully and forever. He reveals Himself to us, inviting us to explore His creation, His atonement through Christ, and the vastness of a reality that goes beyond what we can touch.

So, join me on this spiritual journey through the human condition. With our mortality ever-present, we lament—and yet, we are eternally connected to something more.
Keep Questioning,
